Permissions

A Permissions object represents a collection of permissions.

Type

An object with the following properties:

originsOptional: An array of match patterns, representing host permissions.
permissionsOptional: An array of named permissions, including API permissions and clipboard permissions.

Browser compatibility

BCD tables only load in the browser

Note: This API is based on Chromium's chrome.permissions API.
