runtime.onSuspendCanceled

Sent after runtime.onSuspend to indicate that the app won't be unloaded after all.

Syntax

browser.runtime.onSuspendCanceled.addListener(listener)
browser.runtime.onSuspendCanceled.removeListener(listener)
browser.runtime.onSuspendCanceled.hasListener(listener)

Events have three functions:

addListener(callback)

Adds a listener to this event.

removeListener(listener)

Stop listening to this event. The listener argument is the listener to remove.

hasListener(listener)

Checks whether a listener is registered for this event. Returns true if it is listening, false otherwise.

Function that will be called when this event occurs.

Browser compatibility

BCD tables only load in the browser

Listen for SuspendCanceled events:

function handleSuspendCanceled() {
  console.log("Suspend canceled");
}
